DMARC Checker Tool

About DMARC Checker Tool

DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance) is an email authentication policy that builds on SPF and DKIM. It tells receiving mail servers what to do when an email fails authentication checks. DMARC also enables domain owners to receive reports about who is sending email on their behalf, making it a powerful tool for both email security and visibility.

Use this tool to look up the DMARC record for any domain. Simply enter a domain name and the tool will retrieve and display the full DMARC policy in plain English, breaking down every tag so you don’t need to interpret raw DNS records yourself.

The results show the raw DMARC record along with a clear explanation of each setting, including the enforcement policy, what percentage of mail it applies to, how strictly SPF and DKIM alignment is enforced, and where aggregate and forensic reports are being sent.

What you can check with this tool:

  • Whether a domain has a DMARC record published
  • The enforcement level — None, Quarantine, or Reject
  • Whether the policy applies to 100% of messages or is being gradually rolled out
  • How SPF and DKIM alignment is configured (Relaxed or Strict)
  • Where DMARC reports are being sent
  • Whether subdomains have their own separate policy
